Nancy, France

I adored Nancy. Art Nouveau is one of my favorite art movements/periods and I got an eye full in Prague but Nancy blew it out of the water in terms of the amount architecture from that period. The majority of the shots in this post are a lot of buildings and store fronts. We'd be walking around and I would say "oh, Greg, take a shot of that!". After a bit he would she my eyes linger on something and automatically take a shot before I could ask. Such a lovely fella, that Gregory.
weekend market, mostly cheap fashion goods and some life infomercial demonstrations

There was an apartment for rent on the 2nd floor. Can you imagine?!

courtyard to the Palace Stanislas

We went most of the trip without an umbrella-surprising with all the rain- but at some point we got one

we saw a couple Nintendo graffiti tile 'tags'

Child's or wee tiny person's road bike?

Across the street from our campground, top of the hill, a quick bus ride out of the city.
Unfortunately you can't tell how steep the climb was to get to this viewpoint.
Horses!!!

that is one odd boob

this was a brunch special: chocolate souffle, espresso and ice cream-5 Euro

beautiful inland woodwork

the city had so many streets like this. Seriously, walked for hours with a grin on my face.

Nancy was a fairly bike friendly town.

quiche, fresh baguette, cheese, and avocado. Roughing it
